A basic pedicure is designed to re-hydrate, file, shape, and groom the natural toenail. Nails are finished with a polish of your choice.
Basic pedicures start with a trimming of the toenails. The toenails are smoothed using a nail file, and any nail polish is removed. The cuticles are gently pushed back and dead skin is removed from the nail. Base coat polish, colored nail polish and top coat polish are applied to the nails, and any excess polish is wiped away prior to the polish being given time to dry.
Spa pedicures include the same steps as above, but offer a few extra steps. These treatments are more luxurious and offer a massage chair and footbatch combo experience. After the basic pedicure steps, the spa technician exfoliates clients' feet and legs and performs a leg and foot massage as well. Nails are buffed, brushed and polish is applied.
